The Vision Behind Truly Panama
Truly Panama was founded by Jonathan Zelcer, a travel professional with more than 15 years of experience designing private journeys throughout the country. His deep regional knowledge and long-standing local relationships allow travelers to experience Panama through a more connected and authentic perspective.
Over the years, Jonathan has developed a network built on trust, access, and local expertise — creating journeys that go beyond traditional tourism and reveal the people, places, and stories that define the destination.
Jonathan is also the President and Co-Founder of MUSAP, Panama’s first underwater museum and a marine conservation initiative dedicated to protecting coastal ecosystems through restoration, education, and sustainable tourism. This commitment reflects a core belief behind Truly Panama: that meaningful travel should create a positive connection with the places that make it possible.
